N-iX is seeking a Middle Data Engineer to join their UK/EU client's team. The role involves designing and developing data pipelines for ERP system data ingestion and migration from Talend to Azure Fabric. Responsibilities include establishing automated data pipelines (batch, micro-batch, incremental refreshes), ensuring data quality, provisioning and scaling resources, and creating technical design documentation. The ideal candidate will have extensive SQL and stored procedure experience and be knowledgeable in Azure Data Fabric (pipelines, data warehouse, lake house), and Azure Data Factory. Experience with Talend and Power BI are pluses. Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) and upper-intermediate English are required.
Must have:
- Extensive SQL & complex stored procedures

- Azure Data Factory expertise
- Data pipeline automation (batch, micro-batch, incremental)
- Data quality provisioning
- Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban)

Position overview: Seeking a data engineer with proven Cloud skills based on the design and development of multiple data pipelines for ERP system data ingestions migration from Talend into Azure Fabric.
Responsibilities:
- Establish data pipelines with automated batch, micro-batch, and incremental data refreshes
- Provide data quality
- Provision, deploy, and scale resources
- Create technical design documentation in adherence to business, source system, target system, and solution architecture requirements
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge in SQL and writing complex stored procedures
- Knowledgeable in Azure Data Fabric pipelines
- Knowledgeable in Azure Data Fabric Data warehouse
- Knowledgeable in Azure Data Fabric Lake house
- Knowledgeable in Azure Data Factory
- Expertise in Power BI would be a plus
- Experience with Talend would be a plus as this project would be a migration from it into Azure data factory
- Working Agile (Scrum or Kanban) experience
- Upper-intermediate English level
- Upper-intermediate or higher Ukrainian level
