Job Description

N-iX seeks a Middle Manual QA Engineer to contribute to their ongoing work with a major school transportation provider. Responsibilities include collaborating with BAs and developers to understand requirements, creating test plans and cases, executing tests to ensure software functionality and performance, troubleshooting issues, preparing test data, and contributing to test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of QA experience, in-depth knowledge of test metrics and best practices, backend testing experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and staying updated with QA trends.

We are looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the BA team and developers to understand requirements and identify areas of testing.
Participate in test plan creation, test case design, and continuous improvement of the automation testing process.
Verify acceptance criteria and enrich them
Execute testing to identify defects and ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications is working properly.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
Perform test data preparation.
Contribute to the enhancement of test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks.
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in quality assurance.
Gather testing metrics

Requirements:

2+ years of overall QA experience
In-depth knowledge of test metrics, approaches, and best practices.
Need to have backend testing experience
Nice to have DB knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
At least an Intermediate strong level of English
