Job Description

The Strategy and Insights Manager at Google will conduct consumer research, leveraging vendors and third-party tools, generating insights and consulting clients/partners. This role requires creating presentations, analyzing client businesses, and developing data-driven strategies. Responsibilities include crafting compelling narratives and pitches to support client business goals, using industry and marketing research to help clients reach their consumers effectively. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3 years in advertising sales/marketing/consulting/media, 3 years creating customer-facing materials, and 3 years in consumer and market insights, media measurement, and privacy landscape. The position is a fixed-term contract.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g. search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
  • 3 years of experience creating customer-facing materials (e.g., pitches, narratives, or one-sheets) for sales teams.
  • 3 years of experience in Consumer and Market Insights, media measurement, and privacy landscape.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working cross-functionally.
  • Ability to influence strategy using 3rd party insights.
  • Excellent communication, project management, analytical, and organizational skills.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Scope and conduct consumer research for functions, leveraging vendors (e.g., survey design, hypothesis testing) or third-party research/tools, guiding budget, approval, and legal process to execute research, and generate insights from consumer research.
  • Generate insights and consult clients/partners on the function, create presentations to share knowledge of the industry, market landscapes, audiences, and trends.
  • Analyze and build an understanding of client/partner business and stakeholders, helping clients/partners understand how Google products can improve performance and efficiency.
  • Create forward-thinking and data-driven stories, narratives, and pitches to support client/partner business (e.g., marketing events) or help clients/partners understand and reach their consumers using industry, marketing or third-party research.
