Job Summary

We are looking for a Services Sales Advisor to drive Services Sales across Japan in Manufacturing, Retail and 3PL Industries.

This individual will directly contribute to one of the pillars in the Value Creation Plan that was announced by our CEO & ELT to help achieve our objectives – Simplify and Improve the Customer Experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Sell Blue Yonder Services (Strategic Services (Consulting), Implementation and Education) to both Prospects and Customers.

  • Prepare a strategy and business plan based on the company’s strengths to achieve & exceed Sales quota targets.

  • Understand Customer’s supply chain needs and priorities and execute the sales process in Japan.

  • Execute against the major steps of the sales process - qualifies new opportunities, negotiates and closes new business.

  • Work collaboratively with the Software Licence & Services Sales team.

  • Identify the key decision makers, key performance indicators, and budget constraints within each sales cycle and plans and executes appropriately.

  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.

  • Ensures all services offerings are incorporated appropriately into the proposal with compelling value messages.

  • Develops and fosters a strong relationship as a trusted advisor of the customers.

  • Maintains high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty with customers.

  • Maintains accurate, comprehensive and updated deal information within Salesforce.com.

To be successful on the role, you’ll need:

  • Proven sales track record with Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies (8-10 year experience and above).

  • Experience and success in selling Implementation & Consulting services ($500K and above).

  • Proven sales quota attainment track record ($5M annual quota achievement and above).

  • Experience in selling Supply Chain Software Solutions/ Services is preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing/ Retail/ 3PL industry pain points and related cost drivers is preferred.

  • Outstanding Account Management skills.

  • Ability to hold compelling conversations with Customer’s senior executives.

  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proven new business development skills.

  • Strong time management and organization skills.
