Motion Designer

We’re hiring a Motion Designer to join the Motion Graphics Creative Team of a leading American multinational retail corporation. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity that is fully remote, with location preference for San Bruno, CA; Hoboken, NJ; or Los Angeles, CA. Note: If converted to a full-time role, the position will require onsite work 5 days a week.

Are you a creative storyteller who loves transforming 2D and 3D concepts into eye-catching motion work? In this role, you’ll work on compelling campaigns across Food, Consumables, and Entertainment verticals, collaborating with a dynamic creative team to bring brand experiences to life through motion design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, and Copywriters to develop engaging digital content aligned with the client’s brand and creative goals.

• Storyboard, create, and edit videos and animatics to support multi-channel marketing efforts.

• Apply deep knowledge of motion design and animation principles to craft visually stunning deliverables.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of creative video experience, particularly in omni-channel, multi-brand retail environments.

• BA or BFA in Design or a related field (preferred).

• Strong passion for motion design, video editing, and production.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Experience with Cinema 4D is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI video tools such as Runway, Kling, Pika, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, and Adobe Substance is a plus.
