Job Description

ByteDance's DCar platform is seeking a New Media & Marketing Manager to lead US localization efforts for automotive content, including planning and executing online and offline marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Chinese and English, have experience in automotive marketing, and be proficient in media production software. Responsibilities include content localization, event planning, and coordinating online communication across various platforms.

Must have:

Familiar with US culture and user preferences

About the Team DCar is an all-in-one automotive information, transaction, and service platform, providing users with authentic and professional car content as well as convenient and trusted purchasing services. Established in August 2017, DCar's mission is "Enjoying Cars, Driving Technological Advancements in the Industry," striving to become the most trusted platform for automotive information, transactions, and services. As 2023, DCar's mobile platform has over 8 million daily active users (DAU), with more than 6.34 million automotive content creators and a user base of 498 million car enthusiasts. Responsibilities: - Responsible for the US and localization of Chinese automotive content, including but not limited to the original account of Knowing DCar - Daily planning and execution of offline activities, such as “Chinese car exhibition”, “track day”, etc. - Coordinate the online communication of DCar on various platforms in the US and be responsible for the communication effect

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Familiar with US culture and understand user preferences - Proficient in using media production software, such as Photoshop and Final Cut Pro - Able to independently complete content localization operations - Successful experience in planning and executing online and offline marketing communication projects - Fluency in Chinese and English. 【For Pay Transparency】 Compensation Description (hourly)

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $41- $85.​
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care. ​
