We’re on the lookout for an Office Intern who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, tackle diverse tasks, and support our team in making every day run smoothly. This internship is a great opportunity to develop key skills, learn from experienced professionals, and be part of a welcoming, growth-oriented workplace. As an Office Intern, you are running our offices from our main hubs in Belgium, responsible for all offices in Europe. It’s like running a hotel, with the nicest guests you can imagine! As an international environment conceived to be a place that facilitates our amical and hands-on way of working, the offices highlight phenomenal views, terraces, places to work, play and to be inspired. Our co-workers should feel at home and our suppliers, clients and partners should be welcomed as friends. What you'll do:

If you think you own the professional skills to fulfill our high standards of hospitality and you hold the warmth and guardianship to bring a smile to your colleagues' faces, this internship might be for you! Together with our Office Team, you have a huge impact on the atmosphere and culture at In The Pocket.

Operational follow-up:

  • Welcome our guests, clients and employees at the front office
  • Receive and transfer incoming telephone calls
  • Follow up of the general mailbox, including shipping/couriers for the team
  • Select the best suppliers, follow-up the needs for each office and ensure that deliveries are placed in their designated location

Be responsible for the whole office journey:

  • You guarantee a smooth journey from the moment someone enters our office until they say goodbye
  • Go-to person when it comes to providing a helping hand
  • Organize travel and meeting arrangements for our colleagues
  • Lead our appealing offices like it was your home: including kitchen & conference rooms.

Grow our culture:

  • Plan and execute company events and special occasions and think out of the box when organising them.
  • You are a key contributor to the great atmosphere at In The Pocket
  • Support the Office team in promoting our culture across all offices
  • Share creative ideas to help shape our future-focused and inclusive workplace culture
  • Help bring office vibes and initiatives to our hybrid working environment

Who you are:

  • We are looking for a friendly and caring person, with a big focus on customer/employee happiness
  • You are currently enrolled in a program with a focus on office management
  • You are a problem solver at heart with a genuine interest in helping
  • You have a service minded attitude
  • You prioritize tasks smoothly and embrace variety in your daily schedule
  • Your organisational, administrative and communication skills are excellent
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English 
  • You have a driving license B (a plus, but not required)
  • Live close to our office in Ghent, Antwerp or Leuven
  • Traveling between our offices excites you (a plus, but not required)
