Position Overview:

The Payroll and Commission Manager plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and commissions for employees. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations and commission structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in payroll processing systems, compliance with tax laws, and effective communication with internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do as the Payroll and Commission Manager:

Employees employed in the role of Payroll and Commission Manager shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

• Providing monthly commission reports for Sales Managers that break out revenues, margins and deductions.
• Working with various departments providing accurate and detailed reports and analysis on deductions
• Working with Sales Managers to understand and explain queries.
• Ensuring the UK, Dutch and Irish payrolls are completed timely and accurately.
• Ensuring controls are met when onboarding new employees and leavers
• Maintaining accurate instructions on how the payroll process works
• Creating journals for all entities to ensure costs are correctly posted.
• Rolling out and maintaining a Commission Schedule, working with HR.
• Any other duties that align with the payroll and commission process
• Reviewing expenses claims for authorization and payment

What you will bring to the team:

Education/Certification:

• BA/BS degree in finance/accounting, business administration - or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.

Required Skills:

• Master Excel skills
• Great communication abilities
• Comfortable presenting to people
• Ability to manage deadlines.

• Knowledge of UK and Netherland payroll rules and regulations
