Job Description


Responsible for performing predefined checks on the conformity of piping and equipment installation works in the Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) buildings at Akkuyu site, Mersin, Turkey. Ensures compliance with Turkish Law 30024, maintaining traceability of inspections, addressing defaults, deviations, and non-conformities, and conducting inspections safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and technical requirements.
  • Maintain traceability of inspections and non-conformities.
  • Verify and document defaults and deviations.
  • Conduct inspections safely and efficiently.

Duties:

  • Familiarize with project norms, standards, and procedures.
  • Review and comment on technical documentation.
  • Prepare and conduct on-site inspections.
  • Perform quality control inspections (e.g., final position, flange management, line check, hydrostatic test).
  • Report inspection results and follow up on issues.
  • Adhere to Quality Assurance and HSE processes.
  • Participate in technical meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • ISO 9001 and ISO 17020 standards.
  • Piping and equipment standards (ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.1, NP-105-18, PNAE G-7 series).
  • Fluent in Turkish and English; Russian is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Skills:

  • Quick understanding of technical requirements.
  • Technical writing and report creation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proactive communication in multicultural environments.
  • Keen observation skills for non-compliance detection.

Education and Experience:

  • Engineering graduate in mechanical field.
  • 3 years in inspection/quality assurance/construction supervision.
  • 5 years in piping and equipment installation.
  • Experience in construction/industrial projects.
  • Experience in Russian and nuclear projects is a plus.

Certifications:

  • CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector certification is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Driving license mandatory.
