Job Description:
Your Day-to-Day
As a Principal AI/ML Platform Architect, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our AI/ML capabilities. Your day will involve:
Driving strategic planning and technical leadership for AI/ML infrastructure supporting real-time personalization, ad delivery, and next-generation AI use cases.
Leading the architecture design and hands-on implementation of scalable platforms that power both traditional ML and agentic AI solutions, including multi-step reasoning and decision-making workflows.
Researching and evaluating emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLM orchestration, vector databases, and open-source agentic frameworks.
Solving complex challenges in building, deploying, and optimizing AI/ML systems across training, inferencing, and continuous learning pipelines.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including product managers, ML engineers, and data scientists—to translate business goals into AI-first solutions and platform capabilities that accelerate innovation.
Core Responsibilities:
Architecting scalable systems to power our personalization engine and ads platforms, enabling tailored recommendations and data-driven ad placements.
Spearheading innovation in generative models, with a focus on contextual understanding and real-time predictions, enhancing user interactions across products.
Design, train, and fine-tune AI models, enabling greater adaptability to specific tasks and datasets while driving continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and business relevance.
Leading initiatives to integrate AI solutions with broader business systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the delivery of measurable outcomes.
Defining and implementing strategies for modular AI infrastructure such as MCP.
Agent2Agent communication protocols, elevating intelligent agent ecosystems.
Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI to unlock value, guiding roadmaps and prioritization efforts to maximize impact.
Establishing governance frameworks and best practices to ensure ethical, responsible AI implementation across platforms.
Qualifications
Proven experience in scaling AI/ML platforms from 0 to 1.
Deep understanding of AI/ML principles and algorithms, including deep learning, natural language processing, and machine learning.
Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
Hands-on experience in MLOps: designing and maintaining data pipelines, training workflows, and model-serving systems for cutting-edge AI models (including LLMs).
Experience with LLM frameworks and tools (e.g., Langchain, Transformers, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience building and deploying GenAI applications.
Deep understanding of the research-product tension and ability to balance rapid iteration with scalable system design.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring high-energy, motivated teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
