Job Description
As a Program Manager at Google Photos, you'll lead complex projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners. Responsibilities include prioritizing quality assurance requests, driving the engineering roadmap for Google Photos and Google One, managing releases across Web, Android, and iOS, evolving roadmap/launch planning, and working with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues. You'll build trusted relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure they have the necessary insights for effective decision-making. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, operating in a fast-paced environment, and being self-directed in ambiguous situations. The ideal candidate possesses experience in program/project management, data analytics, and managing cross-functional projects. Experience with consumer products development and third-party partnerships is highly beneficial.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years program/project management experience
- 2+ years experience with data analytics
- Cross-functional project management
- Prioritize QA requests and drive velocity

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- 2 years of experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with consumer products development.
- Experience in driving programs with third-party partners (e.g., telephone company, original equipment manufactures (OEMs)).
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to be self-directed in an ambiguous environment.

Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.Responsibilities
- Prioritize quality assurance requests for new features and regression testing, and evolve processes and improve tooling to drive velocity and efficiency.
- Drive the engineering roadmap for both Google Photos and Google One and release management across both products for Web, Android, and iOS.
- Evolve our roadmap/launch planning and execution programs and processes.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders across locations to influence priorities and resolve blockers/escalations.
- Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of program stakeholders and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
