QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of projects using emerging technologies. This role is essential to ensuring that our quality assurance processes align with our strategic objectives and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. You will lead and mentor a team of technical experts, driving innovation and process improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Software Requirements

• Required Proficiency:

  • Strong expertise in emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, AI, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Preferred Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of QA automation projects using emerging technologies.
• Mentor and guide team members to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Identify and evaluate new technology solutions to improve business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Required: Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Java)

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Preferred: Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)

• Development Tools and Methodologies:

  • Required: Agile methodologies
  • Preferred: Experience with CI/CD practices

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development and leading technology projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects using emerging technologies.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

• Manage the development and delivery of QA automation projects using emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
