ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Data Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for all critical aspects of governing, collecting, transforming & provisioning data used to drive R&D activities within Virtuos.

Responsibilities

Driving the process of creating and distributing relevant policies and procedures

Co-operation with members from different departments to automate the data collection & transformation process, and improve the efficiency of production throughout projects;

Identification of data components necessary to support R&D projects and governing their full lifecycle

Supporting data activities by developing tools or scripts for the needs of projects;

Work with every studio in the group to ensure received data is adhering to required standards

Work with internal teams (R&D, TechArt, IT) to build and manage technical pipeline responsible for storage and transformation of the data

Maintain a good general knowledge of the production pipelines and tools and provide up-to-date documentation on workflow methods, pipeline systems within a centralised accessible location;

Collaborate with partner studios to share technology and best practices;

Qualifications

Graduates from computer science, management or related majors;

Basic knowledge of programming languages;

Ability to analyze problems and quickly deploy effective solutions;

Willingness and ability to write document, scripts and maintain tools;

Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills;

A rigorous and structured approach with strong problem-solving skills;

A proactive attitude and resourceful nature;

Technical competency in understanding the intricacies of pipelines and production tools and the ability to identify bottlenecks or other avenues for improvement;
