Job Description

Hogarth, part of WPP, is seeking a Recruiter to join their team. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing 10-15 roles simultaneously, sourcing candidates, conducting initial interviews, coordinating interview schedules, and managing offers. The role requires collaboration with HR for contracts and visas, writing job advertisements, and identifying new sourcing strategies. The Recruiter will also manage external agency relationships, oversee database management, and build relationships with hiring managers. They will also provide strategic ideas for recruitment efforts, including employer branding and DEI initiatives. Data analysis and reporting skills are crucial for monitoring KPIs and providing insights to improve hiring outcomes.

What does a Recruiter do at Hogarth? 


The Talent Partner will need to be someone who is comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment. In addition to recruiting, you will be required to consult with senior management on various recruitment challenges, solve people-related issues, and thrive in a fast-paced startup culture. This role requires managing 10-15 roles simultaneously, ensuring a highly efficient hiring process while maintaining our company culture as we grow. The ideal candidate will excel at prioritization, multitasking, and driving results in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Resourcing at all levels, recruiting appropriately skilled staff for various full-time and freelance roles.
  • Act as the first interviewer for all candidates, sourcing, shortlisting, and recommending candidates for second-stage interviews with Line Managers.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, assessments, and follow-ups to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Manage offers for both studio sustain and launch project candidates, collaborating closely with HR to coordinate contracts, visas, and start dates.
  • Write compelling job advertisements and determine the most effective platforms for ad placement.
  • Continuously identify new and creative sourcing strategies to maintain a strong pipeline of potential talent, especially freelancers.
  • Manage and optimize external agency relationships for volume and project hiring.
  • Oversee database management for candidates and agencies, ensuring data integrity in systems such as Greenhouse.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with hiring managers and staff at all levels of the business.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Hogarth California, enhancing the company’s employer brand in the market.
  • Provide strategic ideas and initiatives for recruitment efforts, including:
    • Employer branding to attract top talent.
    • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to ensure a diverse pipeline.
    • Market analysis & benchmarking to stay competitive in hiring strategies.
    • Training hiring teams on best recruitment practices and candidate experience.
    • Hiring across multiple geographies, understanding different markets, and their recruitment dynamics.
    • Continuous improvement of recruitment processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Data-driven decision-making:
    • Pull and analyze recruitment data, reports, and key hiring metrics to track hiring efficiency and identify trends.
    • Monitor and optimize KPIs, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate pipeline health, and quality-of-hire.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to hiring teams to refine sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
    • Develop recruitment dashboards and reports for leadership to support workforce planning.
    • Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers by offering data-backed insights, advising on hiring best practices, and aligning recruitment strategies with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting for digital and content production roles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proven ability to manage 10-15 roles simultaneously while ensuring efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Organized and structured approach to recording all recruitment stages, ensuring data accuracy and transparency for hiring managers and candidates.
  • Strong experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates at various levels, with expertise in competency-based and behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Greenhouse, and proficiency in database management.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills—ability to pull recruitment reports, track KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and pipeline metrics), and provide data-driven recommendations to hiring teams.
  • Ability to act as a strategic talent partner by advising hiring managers, improving recruitment processes, and aligning hiring strategies with business goals.
  • Experience with employer branding, DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives, market analysis & benchmarking, and training hiring teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—ability to build trusted relationships at all levels and act with integrity.
  • Adept at working across multiple geographies, understanding different talent markets and cultural nuances in hiring.
  • Strong ability to adapt to change, work through ambiguous situations, and manage shifting priorities with resilience.
  • Proactive mindset—always looking for opportunities to streamline processes, optimize efficiency, and enhance candidate experience.
  • Highly driven, focused, and high-energy, with the ability to thrive in an "all hands on deck" startup-like environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of candidate interactions, resumes, and correspondence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and recruitment dashboards.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $50 - $65/ Hour
