Job Description

The Salesforce Core Tech Lead will design and implement secure, robust, and scalable technical architectures and Salesforce solutions while working with multiple stakeholders. They will lead design workshops, create user stories, estimate requirements, and work with project managers to build project plans. This role involves advising on architectural and technical development, leading a delivery team, performing code reviews, and managing CI/CD pipelines and testing. The Tech Lead will manage change from a technical perspective, document best practices, act as a role model, and collaborate with clients on Salesforce solutions.
Must have:
  • 3+ years leading technical implementations as a Senior Technical Lead
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

We’re hiring for a Salesforce Core Tech Lead as part of Merkle in Sofia. 

Role Description:

- Designed and implemented secure, robust, scalable technical architectures and Salesforce solutions while working with multiple stakeholders. Leading design workshops to understand business processes, recommend and design a Salesforce solution that suits the client's needs.

- Create and manage the breakdown of Salesforce solutions into user stories and requirements, estimate each requirement, map dependencies and work with a project manager to build project plans.

- Leverage your deep technical expertise to advise on architectural and technical development, ensuring technical quality and following sound Salesforce solution design principles. 

- Lead a delivery team and work with a project manager to ensure the agreed Salesforce solution and infrastructure implementation.

- Allocating project tasks to the development team, ensuring tickets provide sufficient technical details for developers to follow.

- Provide project managers with the relevant information to create project documentation, such as a Project Plan, Gantt Chart, Status Reports, Risk Logs, etc.

- Monitor and assist delivery of development tasks.

- Performing code review to ensure quality and best practice standards are met.

- Managing pipelines for CI/CD

- Managed the testing of the Salesforce solution, provided input to test scripts, and triggered bugs found on the platform.

- Manage change from a technical perspective to support project delivery within budget, scope, quality and time.

- Documenting best practices and operational procedures

- Acting as a role model and advising customers on architectural and technical development best practices during workshops and the project.

- Manage the project handover with customers and other internal teams.

- Collaborating with clients and project teams from a technical perspective for Salesforce solutions across various industries.

- Experience leading technical teams, including Technical Leads and Developers, providing coaching, feedback and support to help them achieve their career goals and grow within the organisation. 

- Foster a positive, collaborative, high-performance team culture, focusing on continuous improvement and professional development.   

Desired Skills:

- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience leading technical implementations as a Senior Technical Lead.

- Additional 2+ years’ experience in a hands-on Technical Lead role leading technical implementations and project teams.

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

- Strong background in Salesforce platforms, including Salesforce Cloud solutions (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.), with in-depth knowledge of Salesforce project delivery methodologies.

- Significant experience leading teams to deliver Salesforce projects using various project and program management methodologies in multiple environments.

- Experience designing custom functionality using LWC, Aura, triggers, different custom jobs, flows, and data migrations, as well as a good understanding of Salesforce best practices.

- Experience designing different types of integrations between Salesforce and other systems, for example, integrations using Salesforce APIS, outgoing integrations, web services, Salesforce Connect, MuleSoft and middleware solutions.

- Extensive knowledge and experience of working with Salesforce.com using out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality.

- Experience leading a development team throughout the software development lifecycle, managing the setup of deployment processes and tools.

- Excellent leadership skills with hands-on experience in mentoring and coaching technical teams.

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

- Multiple Salesforce certifications preferred.
