About the job:
As a Senior CPU Design Verification Engineer at Google Cloud, you'll be a crucial part of a team developing custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. You'll contribute to the innovation behind products used by millions worldwide, shaping the next generation of hardware experiences. Your responsibilities will include planning the verification of digital design blocks, creating and enhancing constrained-random verification environments, identifying and writing coverage measures, debugging tests, and ensuring functionally correct design blocks. You'll also be responsible for closing coverage measures to identify verification holes and demonstrate progress towards tape-out.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with digital logic design principles, RTL design concepts, and languages such as Verilog or SystemVerilog.
Good to have:
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with UVM, SystemVerilog, or other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell, Bash, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CPU implementation, assembly language, or compute SOCs.
