Moon Active seeks a DevOps Team Leader to lead a large, global team of DevOps engineers. Responsibilities include architecting solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, reliability, and observability across the company's architecture. The role involves continuous improvement of CI/CD processes, providing DevOps solutions to complex challenges, managing multiple AWS environments, and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate possesses extensive AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC experience, along with proficiency in CI/CD, scripting, version control, and database management. Experience with monitoring, alerting tools, and security standards is crucial.

We're looking for a talented and experienced Devops Team Leader for our infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a large, global team of DevOps Engineers
- Work with developers, SRE and automation engineers to architect solutions that increase efficiency, scale, reliability and observability across Moon Active’s architecture
- Continuous improvement of CI/CD processes of the company
- Provide DevOps solutions to complex architecture challenges
- Own multiple AWS environments across multiple accounts
- Lead by personal example, mentor and educate towards best practices
- Empower engineers to be independent, while aligning to correct standards and reusability
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a DevOps/SRE/Platform engineering manager
- 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer
- Extensive knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
- Significant experience with IaC (Terraform/Cloudformation/Pulumi)
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies and best practices (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
- Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Experience working with version control systems (GitHub) and GitOps flows
- Experience with database management (Redis, MySQL, MongoDB Atlas)
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus/New Relic)
- Experience with security, compliance, and quality assurance standards
- Excellent sense of ownership and accountability
- A passion for technology, learning, and finding optimal solutions
