As a Senior Data Scientist at Fourkites, you will work with a team of data scientists and engineers with a very broad range of technical skills. You will explore opportunities for using advanced analytics and machine learning to solve the most challenging problems in supply chain visibility. You will also have the opportunity to build scalable AI driven products which are sometimes first in class and help solve key customer pain points in their supply chain operations. Using billions of historic data points in the FourKites’ Big data platform from across different geographies and transportation modes you will be responsible for solving some of the most robust and scalable machine learning problems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Be part of a dynamic and innovative data team that tackles complex challenges and drives impactful solutions.
• Act as a bridge between the data engineering and data science teams.
• Understand the existing machine learning (ML) infrastructure and suggest improvements.
• Design, develop, and distribute complex ad hoc reports using open-source or enterprise BI tools.
• Analyze current ML models and recommend changes as needed.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and automation, and encourage the team to utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) or Copilot for competitive advantage.
• Develop models to detect data quality issues and create processes to proactively monitor and alert using various tools.
• Serve as a technical thought leader, working with engineering and product leadership to define strategies and standards for developing ML and analytics-driven products at Fourkites.
  
  

Who You Are:

• You have at least 6 years of software development experience.
• You possess hands-on experience with machine learning and data modeling applications.
• You have hands-on experience in Deep Learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• You have advanced SQL expertise.
• You have experience with Snowflake or Redshift infrastructure.
• You have hands on experience with one of BI tools , such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Sisence or thought-spot
• You are proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C/C++.
• You have hands-on experience working with different databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• You have strong communication and data presentation skills.
• Experience working with geospatial data is a plus.
