Job Description

The Senior Lead QA Engineer will lead the delivery of high-quality software releases, supervise a small team, and coordinate work with other team members, promoting an inclusive culture. Responsibilities include ensuring software testing best practices, driving continuous improvement, leveraging quality metrics, participating in project planning, and motivating teams. The role requires effective communication to all levels of the organization. This role involves leading a team and driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in test automation for Web, Desktop, and API solutions
  • 3+ years leading quality engineering teams
  • Experience with Java / Typescript / JavaScript / Rest Assured
  • Experience with Selenium and Postman
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Testing Automation Tools and Frameworks
  • Experience with AWS and Azure
  • Proficiency in MSFT Office and Power BI
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies, Scrum, and SAFe

Job Details

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Lead to deliver high quality, on time software releases that meet client requirements
  • Supervise a small team and co-ordinate work of other team members, promoting an inclusive and open culture, working with global teams
  • Ensure software testing best practices and quality standards are consistently applied throughout the delivery life cycle
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Leverage quality metrics to ensure high performing effective, efficient teams
  • Actively participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze requirements and estimates of work
  • Motivate and coach teams to deliver high quality work
  • Align to business and technical priorities and understand customer requirements
  • Present and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization including technical and non-technical audiences, leadership, and management

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

  • 8+ years’ experience building test automation for Web, Desktop and API solutions, working with scripting languages Java/JavaScript/Typescript, and selenium based test automation frameworks and API test tools such as Rest Assured, Postman
  • 3+ years leading quality engineering teams
  • Java / Typescript / JavaScript / Rest Assured
