Senior PHP Developer

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a seasoned Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing and architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance PHP-based applications and services. As a Sr. Associate, you will lead the development efforts, mentor junior developers, and ensure the alignment of technology solutions with business objectives. Your expertise will contribute significantly to Synechron’s strategic goals by driving innovation and excellence in software development.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proficiency in PHP 8.x with at least 10 years of development experience
  • Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel 10.x and CodeIgniter 4.x
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Proficiency in database management systems, particularly MySQL
  • Experience in API development, specifically RESTful services
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

• Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement PHP-based applications ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Lead the development and implementation of software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to developers.
• Define and maintain coding standards, documentation, and architectural guidelines.
• Monitor application performance and address issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications
