Key responsibilities:
Research, identify, and generate actionable insights from data that inform your clients’ SEO programs from sources including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, Google Ads Keyword Planner, Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, Conductor, and more.
Contribute to technical site audits using a suite of tools including but not limited to Screaming Frog, Google Lighthouse, Ahrefs, Moz, and SEMRush.
Review and provide best practice SEO recommendations for page templates, individual pieces of site content, and other assets such as YouTube videos including but not limited to metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and light content edits.
Develop and create reporting of basic to intermediate complexity for your clients including, but not limited to, Google Data Studio, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint, delivered at different cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Monitor your clients’ SEO programs’ progress regularly for performance and anomalous behavior, escalating wins, losses, and opportunities to your team and client.
Communicate effectively on a cross-functional client team including SEO Analysts, Strategists, Supervisors, and Director-level roles.
Manage our use of platforms like SEMRush for your clients and be accountable for improving effective utilization.
Contribute to the SEO department by sharing news bites, participating in our Microsoft Teams channels, attending vendor meetings to learn new features and techniques, and supporting internal projects (like task forces).

3-4+ years of SEO experience with exposure to content strategy, web development, and off-site platforms like YouTube.
A strong sense of self-governing and self-organization, but the courage to ask for help and admit when you don’t know something and seek help early.
Ability to communicate data analyses and insights visually in PowerPoint.
Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including but not limited to skillful use of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
An eye for detail and high-quality standards for delivery.
