Job Description

As a Senior Technical Consultant at Salesforce, you'll lead technical teams through multi-phased delivery projects, providing hands-on guidance and influencing development, governance, and operational lifecycle standards. You'll evangelize frameworks, best practices, and implementations across internal networks. Responsibilities include expanding the MuleSoft footprint, leading multiple engagements simultaneously, and fostering partnerships with MuleSoft partners and third parties. You will identify and mitigate project risks, mentor team members, and support the implementation of the SLDC pipeline to optimize the MuleSoft platform. You'll develop technical presentations, architectural blueprints, and lead customers through solution design. The role also involves contributing product insights to MuleSoft leadership, guiding product direction and feature development. Telecommuting is permitted.

Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Technical Consultant in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Lead technical teams through multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance to influence standards for development, governance, and operational life cycle. Evangelize frameworks, project deliverables, best practices/policies and implementations to internal collaboration networks and IP sharing. Identify opportunities to expand MuleSoft footprint and drive further services and customer services, lead multiple engagements simultaneously, and drive partnerships and cross collaboration with MuleSoft partners, SIs, and 3rd Parties. Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout project experiences in the field and contribute to developing and implementing internal mitigation measures to meet customer needs. Evangelize, train, coach, and mentor Services team members on hard technical skills and soft skills. Identify opportunities and efficiencies in customers IT operating model, and support implementation of the SLDC pipeline to get greater value out of the MuleSoft platform. Lead development of technical brown bag sessions and publish/facilitate reusable content to the field. Work with MuleSoft product leadership providing valuable product insight, guiding product direction and features.  Deliver compelling presentations, architectural blueprint documents, and requirements-gathering workshops to influence the strategic direction of our projects and lead customers through solution design. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) ASP.Net or Java or C#; (2) Integration Experience; (3) SQL Server; (4) JavaScript; (5) HTML; (6) XML; (7) JSON; (8) Rest API and SOAP web services; (9) API management; and (10) Agile. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.

Salary: $157,373.00 - $188,600.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

For Minnesota based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,373 to $188,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
