Job Description
As a Senior SAP UI5 Developer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of responsive and user-friendly SAP Fiori/UI5 applications. This role requires expertise in frontend development within the SAP ecosystem. You'll collaborate with functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and developing custom applications, integrating with SAP Gateway/OData services, translating business requirements into technical designs, optimizing application performance, conducting code reviews, and staying updated on industry best practices.
Must have:
- 5+ years of SAP UI5 and Fiori development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAP Fiori design.
- Deep experience with OData services and SAP backend integration.
- Experience with Git, SAP BAS, and SAP Web IDE.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and UI components.
- Experience with testing frameworks and performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements and Smart Controls.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, CAP, or SAP Mobile Services.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP UI5 Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of responsive and user-friendly SAP Fiori/UI5 applications. This role requires deep expertise in frontend development within the SAP ecosystem, strong understanding of SAP architecture, and the ability to collaborate closely with functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE, BAS, and Eclipse.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and backend developers to integrate SAP UI5 apps with SAP Gateway/OData services.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement efficient, scalable code.
- Optimize application performance, ensure responsive design, and implement UX best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce development standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Stay updated on new SAP UI5/Fiori releases and industry best practices.
- Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAP Fiori design principles.
- Deep experience with OData services and integration with SAP backend (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Hands-on experience with Git, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), and SAP Web IDE.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and reusable UI components.
- Experience with testing frameworks (QUnit, OPA5) and performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements and Smart Controls.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), CAP (Cloud Application Programming), or SAP Mobile Services.
