The SEO Manager will lead and execute the search engine optimization strategy for GiG and GiG’s clients, ensuring maximum visibility and traffic from organic search channels. This role demands a seasoned SEO expert with extensive knowledge of the iGaming industry, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. The SEO Manager will focus on driving organic growth, improving search rankings, and maintaining a competitive edge in the digital landscape. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business goals and objectives. * Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth. * Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headlines, URLs, and content to improve search visibility and user experience. * Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into the content development process. * Guide the creation of high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that meets user intent and drives organic traffic. * Implement a content calendar that aligns with SEO goals and business priorities. * Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting crawlability, indexability, and overall site health. * Work closely with web developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and enhancements. * Optimize site architecture, navigation, and internal linking structures for improved search engine accessibility. * Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms. * Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, progress, and opportunities for improvement. * Use data-driven insights to refine and adjust SEO strategies continuously. * Develop and execute a robust link-building strategy to enhance domain authority and search rankings. * Conduct outreach and build relationships with relevant industry sites. * Monitor and manage the company’s backlink profile to ensure compliance with search engine guidelines. * Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in the iGaming industry. * Ensure all SEO activities comply with industry regulations and search engine guidelines. * Implement ethical SEO practices to avoid penalties and ensure long-term organic success. * Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, design, and development to ensure cohesive execution of SEO strategies. * Communicate SEO goals, strategies, and performance to stakeholders and clients at all levels. * Provide training and guidance to team members on SEO best practices and emerging trends.
Must have:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, ideally within the iGaming industry.
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Search Console and Ahrefs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The SEO Manager will work with the team to lead and execute the search engine optimization strategy for GiG and GiG’s clients, ensuring maximum visibility and traffic from organic search channels. This role demands a seasoned SEO expert with extensive knowledge of the iGaming industry, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. The SEO Manager will focus on driving organic growth, improving search rankings, and maintaining a competitive edge in the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy and Implementation:

  • Help develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
  • Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headlines, URLs, and content to improve search visibility and user experience.

Content Optimization and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into the content development process.
  • Guide the creation of high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that meets user intent and drives organic traffic.
  • Implement a content calendar that aligns with SEO goals and business priorities.

Technical SEO:

  • Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting crawlability, indexability, and overall site health.
  • Work closely with web developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and enhancements.
  • Optimize site architecture, navigation, and internal linking structures for improved search engine accessibility. 

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g. Google Analytics, SEO certifications) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, ideally within the iGaming industry.

Skills:

    • Deep understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
    • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Search Console and Ahrefs.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
