About The Team:

Postman’s content team is seeking an SEO Manager to drive growth through organic search. By closely partnering with product and sales, the content team is focused on reaching the right audience with the right message. The content team exists within Postman’s growing marketing organization and is looking for an SEO manager to be the subject matter expert for the organization.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Provide SEO guidance to content creators across the organization.
  • Monitor and identify technical SEO issues and/or opportunities.
  • Perform in-depth research into keywords and search intent.
  • Edit and optimize SEO elements such as metadata, links, and content.
  • Implement SEO strategies and tactics across multiple Postman digital properties.
  • Proactively review and strategize SEO growth opportunities.
  • Work with partner teams to implement SEO tactics and strategies.
  • Define measurable goals and set priorities for reaching those goals.
  • Report SEO performance and opportunities to partner teams and leadership.
  • Illustrate how SEO efforts drive business impact. 
  • Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and technology.
  • Develop SEO best practice documentation to educate other functional areas.

You would be a great fit if you:

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, including content, technical, on-site, and off-site SEO.
  • Experience building and leading SEO initiatives from scratch.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with marketing, engineering, and product teams to implement SEO strategies.
  • Understanding of how keyword research translates to user intent.
  • Ability to work with technical products and curate content related to technical products. 
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to pivot on an approach or situation with creative solutions.
  • Background working with websites for technical products, SaaS, and/or B2B companies.
  • Proactive self-starter; the desire to contribute to and lead the creation of new processes.
  • Experience working with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree required

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with product-led growth organizations.
  • Experience with developer products.
  • Experience with user-generated content and/or programmatic SEO tactics.

What Else?

This role is based in the greater San Francisco Bay area, and the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $124,866- $168,935, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend. Salaries will vary outside of the listed metropolitan areas & the U.S.
