Server Developer / Python Developer

Job Overview

Wargaming Belgrade is inviting talented Server developers who are ready to learn a lot, take responsibility for the result of their work, and meet the expectations of our players together with us. In our team you will be involved in ensuring the stability and reliability of one of our flagship products World of Warships, the availability of game servers, and the technical opportunity for players worldwide to play together.

What will you do?

• Improve and develop the infrastructure server code;
• Support existing server systems;
• Optimize the use of server resources;
• Support server monitoring and failure protocols;
• Maintain documentation and keep it up to date;
• Integrate third-party platforms with our solutions.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of programming experience in server/backend development;
• Hands-on experience programming in Python;
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals (OS, computer networks, computational complexity, and data structures);
• English intermediate or higher.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Familiarity with C++11;
• Familiarity with Linux;
• Game development experience.

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
