What we are looking for:
This Sr Engineer must provide assistance to our internal and external customers, diagnose and troubleshoot different software and cloud component issues in the areas of API Management and Identity and Access Management.
- The responsibilities include guidance, evangelization, and resolution of issues in Identity Federations with external and internal customers and API Management configurations.
- Is expected that this candidate takes ownership of customer requirements reported and seeing problems through the resolution.
- Additionally, will be usual research, analyze, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve common and complex solutions or incidents.
- Will be required to follow and establish standard procedures for triage, resolution, escalation, and creation of a knowledge base for a continuous improvement.

Scope:
Is expected that this candidate covers these points:
- Good English communication skills
- Have experience in Engineering support or any similar one as Service recovery engineer, Site Reliability Engineer.
- Have experience in scripting or some development skills (java, phython, jython)
- Desirable experience on cloud services (preferred Azure, but any other is good)
- Desirable experience in Identity and Access Management
- Desirable experience in API Management
- Experience developing software in Java, Java Spring boot with NoSql or any relational database
- Experience in developing microservices & building REST API's
- Experience with cloud services (Azure or AWS).
- Exposure to API Gateways.
- Exposure in IoT cloud (Desired)
- Exposure to Azure identity management technologies
- Knowledge in IoT Devices authentication / certificate-based access control/authentication mechanisms. (Desired)
What you’ll do:
- Build a strong support practice in the Americas region and collaborate with India team to strength it to move it in the Self service direction or a model to use more effectively the time of the team.
- Look for alternatives to empower customers and other teams to be more accountable of the required configurations and the maintenance of them.
- Provide innovative ways to monitor services, alert service health, proactive notification, and measurement to prevent incidents.
- Bring, Design, or implement ways to automate processes.
- Guide other teams, customers, and partners to effectively use the BY services to maintain and operate in a sustainable way.
- Proficiency in operating our services around identity federation and API management in our Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Support, coach, and help to grow the knowledge of other teams about the best usage of the services we provide.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assigned tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
