Job Description

Mythical Games seeks a world-class Senior Back-end Developer to shape the future of blockchain-enabled games. Responsibilities include developing and supporting platform services, writing efficient and scalable code, bug fixing, and architecting high-load products. The role requires 5+ years of backend development experience, proficiency in Go (2+ years), and familiarity with microservices, Kafka, Redis, and CockroachDB/PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have launched high-load projects, understand scalable application design principles, OOP, SOLID, and possess testing experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Must have:

5+ years Backend development
2+ years Go programming
Experience with Kafka, Redis, CockroachDB/PostgreSQL
High-load project experience
Microservice architecture knowledge
OOP, SOLID understanding
Unit/integration testing
Docker, Kubernetes experience

Good to have:

We are looking for a world-class Sr. Back-end Developer to help Mythical define the future of blockchain-enabled games.

This role at Mythical Games presents an opportunity for a Sr. Back-end Developer to take their career to the next level by joining the most exciting company at the intersection of Gaming, E-commerce, and Blockchain.

Responsibilities:

Developing and supporting one or several services of the platform;
Writing efficient, scalable, and reusable code;
Bugs fixing;
Reviewing and building architecture of the high-load product.

Requirements and skills:

5+ years of Backend development experience;
2+ years of experience with Go programming language;
Work experience with Rust will be an advantage;
Work experience with Kafka, Redis, CockroachDB(PostgreSQL);
Experience of the development and successful launch of high-load projects;
Experience with microservice architecture, service discovery;
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
Understanding of fundamental designs of OOP, SOLID;
Habits in writing unit/integration tests;
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes;
Ability to deal with substandard issues.

Nice to Have:

Interest in the gaming industry;
Experience with Substrate will be a big advantage.
