Overview:

As Store Lead, a lot of responsibility will rest on your shoulders. You’ll lead the charge in every aspect of your store’s day-to-day operations and plans for future success, and you’ll be the one person ultimately accountable for setting the standard for amazing customer experiences, top-notch employee performance, managing our bicycle rental business, and budget-beating sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Bicycle Service/Sales and Rental Business Management:

  • Supervise and manage the bicycle rental process, ensuring the best customer experience in the world!
  • Maintain and manage the fleet of rental bicycles, including regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor rental reservations and coordinate the availability of bicycles.
  • Promote the rental service through in-store marketing, community outreach, and Store Lead guided customer rides.

Store merchandising and operations

  • Participate in store merchandising to ensure a professional, accessible, and inviting shopping experience—this includes sorting, straightening, arranging fixtures, and setting up feature displays.
  • Monitor store supplies and ordering or purchasing additional supplies as needed.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.

Financial performance

  • Actively work the sales floor, interacting with customers and employees to achieve the store’s sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, quarterly/monthly financial review meetings, and other meetings as necessary.
