In this role, you will work closely with key product area stakeholders to ensure a single, centralized Procurement. In this role, you will oversee and manage the implementation, development, and enhancement of supplier initiatives within the procurement function to drive consistency, adoption and value of key supplier partnership programs across Google.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of supplier programs within procurement by creating roadmaps, timelines, and action plans for executing initiatives, such as third-party risk management,and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, such as procurement teams, executive finance management, and cross-functional departments, to communicate the importance of GPO supplier programs with the intent to foster support for program initiatives, drive impact, and work toward mutual goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop policies, guidelines, and procedures related to GPO supplier programs and ensure alignment with legal requirements, industry standards, and corporate values.
- Research and implement best practices in supplier management within procurement to identify innovative approaches and industry trends to enhance program effectiveness.
