Job Description

As a Tech Lead in Google's gTech Ads team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering customer solutions and driving global initiatives. You'll work across all of gTech Ads and Google's advertising and publishing customers, building and managing the technical foundations for the team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with regional and global teams to understand their needs and establish development best practices. You'll design and build technical infrastructure to ensure efficient and compliant solution development. Additionally, you'll provide a platform for discovery and reuse of gTech Ads solutions and support the team in minimizing risk and managing existing deployments. You'll also provide technical coaching and guidance to gTech Ads teams on leveraging Google's internal and external tech stack for customer solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6 years of experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
  • 6 years of experience coding with programming languages (Java, C/C++, Python)
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting and managing internal/external partners
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 6 years of experience with customer-side web technologies (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, TypeScript) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
  • 6 years of experience with cloud technologies (architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments)
  • 6 years of experience working with systems (Linux, Unix, Windows)
  • 6 years of experience in an investigative role (business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics)
  • 6 years of experience using Machine Learning (ML) and building solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).

Responsibilities

  • Work with gTech Regional and Enablement teams on globally applicable projects and initiatives. Build and manage the technical foundations for gTech Ads to deliver customer solutions.
  • Work with regional and global teams to understand their needs and establish development best practices.
  • Design and build technical infrastructure for the gTech Ads team to develop solutions efficiently and compliantly. Provide the platform for discovery and reuse of gTech Ads Solutions.
  • Support gTech Ads in minimizing risk and managing existing solution deployments by providing resource monitoring tools and applying compliance programs.
  • Provide technical coaching and guidance for gTech Ads teams in the use of Google internal and external tech stack for customer solutions.
