Your Mission in Funcom
In this position, you will be asked to test code and content changes by the core technology teams as well as occasionally the game teams and verify that it works as intended. In addition, you will assist the teams with debugging and profiling tasks. You will be working closely with our Tools and infrastructure teams to test and support a wide range of advanced tools for making and running an MMO at scale.
How you can have an impact in your position:
As a Tech QA tester, you will be expected to be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time, as well as being able to cooperate in multi-disciplinary teams. Communication and cooperation are key to this position, as you will need to follow-up with the tech and dev teams on the issues that need to be resolved.
