Job Description

Paradoxum Games seeks a UI/UX Programmer & Designer to design and implement user interfaces for their Roblox projects. Responsibilities include creating wireframes and prototypes, implementing responsive interfaces across all screen sizes, testing and deploying interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, optimizing graphic assets, brainstorming UI ideas, and staying current with UI trends. The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of experience in React and Luau programming, familiarity with Roblox's React framework, experience with design software (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator), Redux state management, Git, and Roblox industry tools (Rojo, Lune). The role requires excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Must have:

2-3+ years experience in React and Luau
Roblox React framework knowledge
Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator familiarity
Redux state management experience
Git version control experience
Roblox game engine & industry tools
Design beautiful & usable interfaces
Optimize React code for minimal reconciliations
Excellent written/verbal communication

Paradoxum Games is seeking a talented UI/UX Programmer and Designer to join our engineering team! In this role, you will design and implement user interfaces and experiences for Paradoxum Games' projects, reaching and engaging millions of players worldwide!

You're a good fit if you:

Required: are familiar with project organizational strategies (SCRUM, Agile, etc..)
Required: have a solid background (2-3+ years) in both React and Luau programming
Required: you must be familiar with the Roblox's React framework
Required: you must be familiar with industry design (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, ect..)
Required: you must be familiar with state management through rodux
Required: have excellent written / verbal communication skills in English
Required: Experience working with version control software (We use Git)
Have experience working with the Roblox game engine
Have experience with industry-standard tooling for Roblox (Rojo, Lune, etc)
Can design thoughtful & beautiful interfaces, without compromising on usability
Can optimize react code for as little reconciliations as possible
Have a strong work ethic and taking initiative with minimal guidance

You'll be doing:

Design and implement user interfaces for our projects, including creating wireframes and prototypes in collaboration with game designers, artists, and producers.
Implement responsive and reactive user interfaces that work seamlessly across all screen sizes.
Thoroughly test and deploy interfaces to millions of players, ensuring minimal bugs.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary peers, managing complex initiatives from start to finish, assessing risks, setting goals, and ensuring timely delivery.
Conduct research and evaluate user feedback to optimize user interface design.
Optimize graphic assets to enhance the game interface.
Brainstorm, design, and pitch user interface ideas to the team.
Communicate with creative talent to fulfill artistic needs for user interfaces.
Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies to keep designs cutting-edge.
Perform system testing and report bugs to maintain quality and functionality.
