Introduction
An outstanding opportunity exists to join a global market leader and dominant force in the Australian gaming market. IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming products and systems. IGT Australia provides a range of gaming products, systems and services to the Club, Hotel and Casino industries.
IGT is searching for an experienced Storeperson to join our team Ermington, NSW. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for recording all inwards and outwards goods movements from the warehouse, and to control the orderly storage of all items within the warehouse.
As a Storeperson, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support and communicate on stock control issues
- Working collaboratively to provide quick and efficient turnaround of orders
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key external suppliers and clients
- Undertaking goods receiving function by receipting, verify material, & abiding by system that allows quick location of goods into warehouse.
- Undertaking daily material picks for Production and other general material picks by accurately and efficiently selecting requested material.
- Ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate (i.e.: requisitions, transfers etc.).
- Performing stock cycle counting as a key participant in the process.
- Undertaking data entry of work orders when required.
- Packing and arranging shipment of parts for external and internal parts orders.
- Collecting parts as required to maintain stock levels from main store.
- Completing and filling out paperwork in a neat and tidy manner for data entry.
The following experience and attributes are essential:
- Completion of high school or equivalent highly regarded.
- Previous experience in manufacturer stores.
- Must have current forklift license.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proven high level initiative.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous store person experience is preferred.
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
