Responsibilities

– Collaborate closely with talented art, code, and design teams to develop concepts, digital game assets, environments, gameplay objects, and promotional imagery.

– Assist in establishing or refining an art style to maintain visual consistency.

– Develop or improve 2D artwork pipelines to support ongoing content updates.

– Seek opportunities for innovation and enhancement of visual quality and gameplay experience, working with the wider team when needed.

– Lead the creation of marketing materials to effectively communicate the artistic vision to stakeholders.

– Provide precise time estimates for tasks and ensure production deadlines are met.

– Mentor and educate others in digital art techniques.

Qualifications

– Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in art media, graphic design, or possessing equivalent relevant experience.

– Showcasing a strong portfolio that highlights refined digital painting and illustration skills specifically for game assets, background design, user interface (UI), and concept art.

– Having a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience within the mobile/videogame development industry.

– Being able to adapt artistic style and techniques to meet the requirements of mobile game development.

– Exhibiting a deep understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, perspective, user experience (UX), and UI design.

– Demonstrating effective teamwork and the ability to work within technical constraints.

– Possessing a keen eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and strong design sensibilities.

– Having a genuine passion for the game industry and a comprehensive understanding of market trends and artistic styles.

– Thriving under pressure and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

– Proficiently utilizing Adobe products such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

– Possessing a desire to manage, support, and mentor fellow artists.
