Job Summary
Job Description
The job involves processing incoming invoices, coordinating with department heads regarding expenses, assigning and posting invoices, reconciling accounts, maintaining master data, preparing payments, processing credit card statements, reconciling intercompany accounts, creating accruals, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The role requires proficiency in DATEV and MS Office, particularly Excel. The candidate needs to have excellent skills in German and English. The employee will also have to prepare analysis and reports, and support process optimization. They should be independent, structured and highly accurate when working.
Must have:
- Process incoming invoices and verify them.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding expenses.
- Proficient in DATEV and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent written and spoken skills in German and English.

Your Game
- Process incoming invoices, including invoice verification
- Coordinate with internal department heads regarding expenses and monthly accruals
- Assign and post incoming invoices in SIMBA (switching to DATEV from 2026)
- Reconciliate account and resolve supplier invoice inquiries
- Maintain master data and create vendor master records
- Prepare and record outgoing payments
- Process and book credit card statements and petty cash
- Reconciliate intercompany accounts
- Create monthly accruals and deferrals
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (and IFRS)
- Prepare analyses and reports
- Support process optimization
Your Talent
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training, ideally with a focus on finance, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounts payable
- Proficient in DATEV and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Quick comprehension and strong affinity for working with numbers
- Independent, structured, and highly accurate working style
- Analytical and systematic approach
- Excellent written and spoken skills in German and English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an international working environment or in the games/tech industry is a plus
- Solid accounting knowledge with HGB and IFRS
