Spaulding Ridge is seeking an Anaplan Associate to join their Anaplan Delivery Team. This role involves assisting organizations in solving business challenges through Enterprise Performance Management. The Anaplan Associate will translate business problems into Anaplan models, design and configure solutions, and provide training to clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Anaplan modeling, especially in FP&A, SCM, or SPM, and the ability to work in a team. The candidate should have good communication skills and experience working in an onshore-offshore development model. Responsibilities include interacting directly with clients, translating solutions, and maintaining effective working relationships. The candidate is expected to stay current with the latest Anaplan technologies.
Must have:
  • Hands-on Anaplan modeling experience.
  • Functional Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis processes.
Good to have:
  • Experience with enterprise performance management.

What You Will Do and Learn

We are looking for an Anaplan Associate to join our Anaplan Delivery Team!

As an Anaplan Associate, you will help some of the world’s most well-known organizations solve business challenges through Enterprise Performance Management. With the opportunity to build your Anaplan expertise by obtaining recognized certifications, you will implement Anaplan as a ‘Best in Cloud’ solution for Finance, Supply Chain and Sales.

Ideal candidates will be able to:

  • Interact directly with clients to extract their needs
  • Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models.
  • Functional Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis processes, Supply chain, Sales performance management or workforce planning.
  • Analyze customer needs, design, configure, and test customer solutions
  • Maintain effective working relationships with team members
  • Mentor Analysts with domain knowledge and configuration questions
  • Assist with configuration reviews to provide useful feedback
  • Contribute to project and team documentation
  • Deliver Anaplan training to our clients
  • Stay current with latest Anaplan technologies and best practices within the industry

 Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of exp with minimum 5 years of hands-on Modelling Experience in Anaplan (with exposure to a minimum of 2 end-to-end implementations on Anaplan) focused on either FP&A, SCM or SPM uses cases
  • 4+ years hands on modeling experience in Anaplan projects, including implementations, upgrades, roll outs and/or support.
  • Experience with enterprise performance management, digital transformation, enabling big data / cloud-based analytics strategies (preferred)
  • Deep domain and solutioning background with ability to take charge of detailed architecture designs in either or combination of the following: FP&A, SCM or SPM.
  • Deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling, and experience in translating business requirements
  • Curious individual with strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
  • Willingness to learn and ramp-up in new technologies and business functions.
  • Ability to have direct discussions with stakeholders to understand their needs and then design, develop, maintain, and elaborate planning models. 
  • Proficient with Excel spreadsheet modeling, Excel formulas and functions
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change.
  • Team player who possesses strong quantitative and analytical skills, has experience building financial models and enjoys solving and streamlining complex business problems.
  • Enjoys detailed and challenging puzzles, thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and possesses the aptitude to work independently.
  • Experience working in an onshore-offshore development model.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to switch contexts between highly technical and business-focused topics quickly and easily.
