Application Engineer II

LTX-Launchtrax is a pioneering developer of Next-Gen Mission Systems for defense and aerospace customers. The team is working on multiple products of national importance in the field of Mission Autonomy, Unmanned Underwater Systems, and Decision Support Systems. Every single mission from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, India's Missile Test Complex, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur and Flight Test Centre (FTC), HAL uses systems developed by Engineers at LaunchTrax for better mission readiness.

Technical Expectations :

- Proficiency in C++ language, experience with CMake tools

- Understanding of graphics pipeline ( OpenGL / Vulkan )

- Experience with developing graphical user interfaces using QT / QML / ImGUI

- Experience writing modular extensible code with understanding of OOPs concepts

Responsibilities :

· As a senior application engineer, your responsibility will be designing and developing scalable and efficient software solutions that align with business requirements.

· Collaborating with stakeholders like product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project goals and ensure the delivery of high-quality results.

· Leading the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing concept development, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

· The responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to established coding standards and best practices.

· Conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members, and addressing any technical debt and code quality issues to maintain a robust and scalable codebase.

· Prompt investigation and resolution of software defects and issues will also be expected.

· You will also be expected to engage proactively in design discussions, propose innovative solutions to complex technical problems, and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

· Mentorship and coaching of junior team members are also integral to this role, fostering skill development and professional growth within the team.
