Project Overview

Vendors will play a pivotal role in delivering operational support across various client teams. As an integral part of the client's project, the contractor agent will gain exposure to a diverse range of features and proprietary tools aimed at promoting the client's platform or payment processes inherent in their subscription services.

As an Application QA Tester, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile, tablet, and web applications. Your primary responsibilities will include testing, debugging, and supporting development activities.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Solution Management
• Lead the planning, configuration, deployment, and operation of cloud solutions, ensuring access and security configuration.
• Optimize performance standards by implementing auto-scaling solutions to meet variable load requirements.
• Utilize automation for building and configuring IaaS-based solutions within Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop Proof of Concepts for new cloud-based solutions.
• Effective Communication
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills and collaborate effectively with global teams.
• Exhibit efficient work performance, meeting deadlines under pressure, while adapting to both independent and team-oriented work environments.
• Campaign Management
• Execute various tasks related to client's platform campaigns, including quality assurance (QA) and accessibility (A11y) testing, the creation of manual campaigns, implementation of channel targeting requests, and providing support during peer reviews.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree with Computer Science or equivalent working experience
• QA Testing Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in QA testing, particularly with mobile and web browsers. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in technologies like C++, XML, JSON, Protocol Buffers, Python, and SQL.
• Mobile Platform Knowledge: Basic knowledge of ADB commands, Unix, and shell scripting. Familiarity with app installations on Android and iOS devices.
• Internationalization Testing: Basic knowledge of internationalization testing and relevant tools.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, coupled with a strong desire to learn and contribute as a team player. Good written and oral communication skills.
• Google Cloud Experience: Experience hosting an application on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using relevant services. Knowledge of GCP design considerations and limitations.
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting, especially Python, for automating build tasks.
• Big Data Familiarity: Familiarity with Big Data tools on GCP, such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Dataflow.
• Container Knowledge: Prior experience working with container technology, e.g., Docker.
• Version Control and CI/CD: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Github), build management, and CI/CD tools.
• Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools like AppDynamics.
• Infrastructure Management: Proficiency in infrastructure configuration management tools such as Terraform.
• Unix/Linux: Strong Unix/Linux user.
• Self-learner with the ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills.
