Position Overview:
Ever wondered what it’s really like to work in brand and marketing? This internship is your chance to find out. You'll work side-by-side with the Senior Brand Manager in Galway, getting stuck into everything from internal communications and events to messaging, campaigns, and creative projects. If you’re full of ideas, love getting creative, and enjoy seeing things through from concept to execution, we’d love to hear from you. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Event Planning with Impact: Help us plan events that actually get people talking, whether it’s a themed party, charity initiative, or something brand new. You’ll play a key role in creating moments that spark connection and culture.
• Messaging & Content: Work on messaging that captures who we are and why people want to be part of it. From campaign ideas and content creation to tone-of-voice and social copy, you'll help us tell the Diligent Galway story in a way that lands.
• Bringing the Brand to Life: Think big and help bring the Galway brand to life. You’ll support with visuals, taglines, and branded content that captures our unique culture and makes an impact.
• Supporting Local Partnerships: You’ll play an active role in managing our community and brand partnerships whether that’s coordinating with Galway United or working with the Galway International Arts Festival, you’ll help us build meaningful partnerships and bring our brand to life in a way that genuinely connects with the Galway community.

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone currently working towards a degree in a related field
• A strong communicator with a creative streak
• Organised, self-motivated, and full of ideas
• Passionate about marketing, storytelling, and culture
• Based in or near Galway – this is an on-site role
