Job Description

As an Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions, you'll work with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), advising them on how to optimize their Google Ads investment. You will build and maintain client relationships, conducting regular consultations and pitches. Responsibilities include owning a portfolio of SMBs, understanding their growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and creating quarterly plans. You'll drive customer growth by delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving their business and marketing objectives. Fluency in both English and Turkish is essential for supporting client relationship management in the specified region. The role involves delivering against quarterly business and product growth goals, and requires strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills. You'll need experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or marketing.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in English and Turkish
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieve business growth goals
Good to have:
  • Experience assessing client success
  • Project planning and execution skills
  • Multitasking and attention to detail

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Turkish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and competitive promoting.
  • Experience with execution skills to plan, implement, and track actions.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media business context, and consistently achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and business pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small/medium businesses by understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
