Summary

Anthology seeks a Cloud Engineer II to manage the lifecycle of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations. Responsibilities include creating, upgrading, and maintaining D365 F&O environments; performing operations like backup, restore, and refresh; troubleshooting and fixing issues; working with the DevOps team to automate deployment and maintenance; collaborating with Development and Product teams to build a scalable cloud deployment model; coordinating with the release team for patches and hotfixes; documenting SOPs; and training team members. The ideal candidate possesses 4-5 years of hands-on D365 F&O administration experience, familiarity with Azure, Azure DevOps pipelines (CD/CI), and Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS).
Must have:
  • 4-5 years D365 F&O administration experience
  • Azure Fundamentals knowledge
  • Azure DevOps pipeline experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics LCS experience
  • Automation deployment experience
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and DevOps certifications

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the lifecycle of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations
  • Creating, upgrading, and maintaining Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environments
  • Performing operations like backup, restore, and refresh of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environments
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues related to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environments
  • Working with DevOps team to automate deployment and maintenance of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environments
  • Coordinating with Development and Product teams to build sustainable and scalable cloud deployment model for Anthology applications build on top of Dynamics 365 platform
  • Working with release team to schedule and apply patches and hotfixes for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform and Anthology proprietary applications
  • Documentation of Standard Operation Procedures
  • Training team members on Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations administration

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in administering Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) portal activities
  • Good understanding or experience in Azure Fundamentals like Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machine management and Enterprise app integration
  • Background in automation deployments and working with Azure DevOps pipelines (CD/CI)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other technical branch
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamwork, knowledge sharing within team, and strong customer focus
  • Good analytical, critical-reasoning, problem-solving skills, and troubleshooting skills as applied to complex business-technology subject areas
  • Fluency in written and spoken English 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Certified in: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure and DevOps
