Haleon is seeking a Commercial Manager for Qatar and Bahrain to drive business growth and forecast accuracy. The role involves identifying volume and value opportunities, developing channel strategies, and managing Net Revenue. The manager will oversee distributor performance, ensure compliance with Haleon policies, and collaborate on profitable SKU growth. Key responsibilities include leading 'winning at shelf' initiatives, building partnerships with key customers, optimizing portfolio mix for accelerated growth, and managing business interactions with distributors. The role also requires growing OTC, Wellness, and Oral Health business across various channels, including tenders, private sectors, and hospitals, while managing Gross to Net efficiencies and ownership of country forecasts.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Commercial Manager – Qatar and Bahrain, to join us! This role will be based in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Deliver growth and forecast by identifying volume and value opportunities and setting the same direction to the team.

  • Accelerate growth by devising channel strategy and driving Net Revenue Management in the assigned territory or country.

  • Actively manage and ensure distributors perform up the expected standards and ensure that all all-business activities are compliant with Haleon policies.

  • Collaborate with distributor/s on different portfolios and ensuring the growth is coming from the most profitable SKUs and ensure Haleon compliant business

  • Lead the winning at shelf agenda through T2P excellence and execution.

  • Lead the relationship with Key customers to a partnership level and unlock growth opportunities while using the Customer Growth Framework segmentation. This will be achieved through coaching and mentoring distributor team and upgrade our relationships.

  • Look at portfolio mix opportunities to set a strategy for accelerated growth by identifying pricing opportunities for growth margin enhancement.

  • Be the business owner for all business-related interactions with the distributors (quality, audit, finance, supply chain etc), and manage distributors end to end (agreement, screening, commercial terms, field force etc.)

  • Grow overall OTC, Wellness and Oral Health business from tender, to private, to hospitals, and be knowledgeable with local insurance landscape to be able to effectively manage the operation and increase the channels penetration.

  • Drive G2N (Gross to Net) efficiencies. Manage overall spend/G2N within allocated budget, ROI for different activation mechanics

  • End to end Ownership of the forecast of OTC, Wellness and Oral Health for the country and ensure the alignment between Distributor and Haleon SC

  • Governance on Commercial hygiene and adherence to commercial policies (ATTP/TSF)

  • Adherence to Haleon SOPs, across both markets in terms of execution

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • 3-5 years of experience as a sales individual at a managerial level

  • Experience managing Key Accounts, in pharma and retail channels

  • Distributor Management experience

  • Experience with Gross to Net management

  • Negotiation Skills

  • Problem Solving

  • Leadership skills

  • Strong commercial acumen & analytical skills

  • Flexibility to travel (role is Qatar and Bahrain)

Preferred

  • GCC experience preferred
