The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting electronic communications to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. This role involves using advanced surveillance tools to detect and report on communication patterns, trends, and any suspicious activities. About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will have prior e-communications surveillance experience in the financial services industry. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting electronic communications to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. This role involves working with advanced surveillance tools to detect, analyze, and report on communication patterns, trends, and any suspicious activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of electronic communication systems.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Conduct surveillance and analysis of electronic communications, including email, text messages, digital transmissions, etc.
  • Analyze communication patterns to identify potential threats, illegal activities, or policy violations.
  • Prepare detailed reports based on findings, including patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all surveillance activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development of surveillance protocols and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring efforts.
  • Provide timely and accurate intelligence regarding any suspicious or criminal activities identified through surveillance.

What We Look For in You:

  • BA/BS in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in e-communications surveillance, or a closely related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as in a team dependent on tasks.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals, and develop systems for achieving those goals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment, managing projects, solving problems and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

Bonus:

  • Strong regulatory knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements for crypto and electronic communications retention and surveillance.
  • Experience with building out, maintaining, and refining Lexicons and risk detection models.

OKX/Okcoin Statement:
The salary range for this position is $73,000 to $110,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
