Your roles and responsibilities will include:
● Preparation and review of tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT and other taxes);
● Support Clients with establishment, assessment and improvement of its Tax function (scope of responsibilities, reporting structure, operation model, design and document tax processes etc.)
● Provide guidance and comments to Clients on compliance related tax issues and questions arising in day to day operations
● Communication (both correspondence and personal) with clients and team on a daily basis;
● Process enhancements and routine tasks automation, participation in the development of the digital products for the Clients in the area of tax.
Requirements:
● University degree in Economics or related field
● 1+ years of working experience within an accounting firm/accounting department in corporate income tax reporting and/or VAT compliance
● Understanding of the local rules and experience with a preparation and/or review of VAT returns
● Understanding of the local rules in the area of corporate income tax and practical experience with a preparation of the relevant tax returns is a plus
● Basic understanding of the local rules in the area of electronic invoicing
● Fluency in Serbian and English language both written and verbal
● Ability to work collaboratively within a team while building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and clients
● Excellent communication skills
● Advanced MS Excel skills
