JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is an exciting position where you will ensure our Customs House Brokerage product is strongly positioned in the Cambodian market. The incumbent needs to work closely with a variety of stakeholders, inclusive of customs officers, Intermodal teams, Legal desks, compliance teams and sales colleagues. The incumbent must have the ambition to achieve expected cost optimization, sales revenue, business compliance and high customer satisfaction.
Act as focal point to coordinate between parties (Intermodal, Customs officers, Suppliers, Customer service, Sales, Product, Procurement etc.) to ensure an effective Customs Clearance process is in place
Work closely and collaboratively across functions toward the customer’s requirements; product development and the company’s strategy
Act as the focal point to cascade down all customs laws and regulations, announcements and any change to Intermodal, Product and Sales
Ensure our Product is fit to deliver our promise to Customers, meeting KPIs, SLA, SOP/IOP in a compliant way
Ensure high compliance with legislative requirements and organizational rules and policies
Engage and build a strong connection with customs, ensure we work collaboratively & make an effort to improve the lead time of customs document processing and clearance
Drives the gathering & analysis of market and competitor research, to determine potential product ideas which can be explored to solve a market gap or problem.
Discover and develop new product offerings and lead their launch strategies along with Sales and Operation teams.
Manage & renovate existing product offerings to extract full growth potential during different stages of the product life cycle.
Product Pricing Strategy
Support Finance with volume forecasting and monthly/ yearly budget preparations
Product training to Sales/Commercial Teams
Provide the training/sharing upon the requirements from Product/Sale
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's Degree if preferred.
Strong experiences in relevant industries (logistics, transportation, shipping…).
Strong experience in the customs house brokerage process
Qualified Customs House Brokerage License is preferable.
Be able to engage teams from different working sites ensuring they work collaboratively to achieve common objectives.
Proven ability to be able to work under pressure and strong ownership.
Ambitious and result-oriented, self-starter with initiative and strong drive.
Possess excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, time management, root cause problem-solving (RCPS) and presentation skills.
Network/contacts within the international/local logistics industry/ local authorities.
English proficiency: The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
