Position Summary

The Director of Global Marketing will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer owning AccelByte’s ‘identity’ and will be responsible for crafting the narrative & telling the story of who AccelByte is through customer Stories/case studies, events, products, and partnerships. This individual will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment to define and execute a holistic marketing strategy aimed at building broad awareness of AccelByte’s solutions across the video game industry driving high-quality opportunity pipeline growth and adoption of the AccelByte platform.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive Marketing Strategy inclusive of Web, Social, Events, Product, and Partner marketing that will drive awareness, opportunity pipeline growth, and adoption.
  • Own and manage the entire marketing lifecycle and budget preparing regular reports and forecasts to assess the team's performance and present marketing insights to the executive team to help strategic decision-making.
  • Lead a high-performing event, product, and digital marketing team scaling through a 3rd party full-service agency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customer & partner marketing teams and act as the primary point of contact to deliver case studies and drive joint co-marketing activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and potential risks. Use market insights to refine marketing strategies and approaches.
  • Establish daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets to establish a guideline that enables measurement of individual and group performance.
  • Cultivate an environment where team members are empowered and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and belonging.
  • Conduct 1:1’s with team members on a regular basis and give frequent, actionable feedback to support the team’s career growth.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across global time zones to ensure tight collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Games industry and technology!
  • Creative with the ability to think outside the box to deliver high-impact marketing & awareness campaigns.
  • Ability to identify game industry personas and speak to them in their own language with knowledge of where & how game technology personas find and consume information.
  • At least 5-7 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a focus on building and executing digital marketing or product marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in core game development concepts, including milestone definition, industry-standard KPIs, and Metrics.
  • Experience working in a global environment understanding cultural nuance and how that impacts content & messaging.
  • Advanced experience with HubSpot and Google Analytics platforms.
  • Advanced experience in Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language to succeed in a remote work environment.
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules, as required, to meet the needs of the company and the expectations of customers.
