As a part-time Social Media Content Marketer, you'll be instrumental in building Salt's online presence, growing our audience, and positioning us as thought leaders in AI and SaaS. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a knack for storytelling, content creation, and social media strategy in a B2B context. You will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy tailored for platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube to engage and educate our target audiences (AI developers, SaaS professionals, and tech leaders). You will also be responsible for creating ongoing engagement for profiles of 3-4 executives. Your responsibilities include writing, designing, and producing high-quality, engaging posts, graphics, and short videos that showcase Salt's expertise and value. You will also plan and manage social media campaigns that align with company goals, including product launches, webinars, and partnerships. You will also track and analyze performance metrics to continually optimize our social media strategy for reach, engagement, and conversions. You will build relationships by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant industry conversations. You will work closely with the marketing, product, and design teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all messaging.
Must have:
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for B2B SaaS companies in tech or AI.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Twitter, and other professional social media platforms.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Experience analyzing social media metrics and using insights to drive strategy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
  • Knowledge of SEO and how it integrates with social media strategies.
  • Familiarity with the SaaS buyer journey and account-based marketing (ABM).

The Role
As a part-time Social Media Content Marketer, you’ll be instrumental in building Salt’s online presence, growing our audience, and positioning us as thought leaders in AI and SaaS. All with the underlying goal of generating new inbound leads. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a knack for storytelling, content creation, and social media strategy in a B2B context.

What You’ll Do
Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy tailored for platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube to engage and educate our target audiences (AI developers, SaaS professionals, and tech leaders). You will be responsible for our primary brand properties as well as creating ongoing engagement for profiles of 3-4 executives.
Content Creation: Write, design, and produce high-quality, engaging posts, graphics, and short videos that showcase Salt’s expertise and value.
Campaign Management: Plan and manage social media campaigns that align with company goals, including product launches, webinars, and partnerships.
Analytics and Optimization: Track and analyze performance metrics to continually optimize our social media strategy for reach, engagement, and conversions.
Community Engagement: Build relationships by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant industry conversations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and design teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all messaging.

Who You AreCore Skills and Experience (Must-Have)
