Job Description

Workato is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their growing team in Singapore, focusing on the Asia region. The role involves building and executing a territory plan targeting major enterprises, primarily focusing on new business development, both directly and through channel partners. The candidate will work with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), partner sales, and marketing teams to engage with C-level executives, aiming to close deals exceeding $100k. This role is within a fast-growing environment, requiring someone who enjoys being in an evolving team and can navigate the ambiguity of a startup setting. The candidate is expected to contribute to a flexible, trust-oriented culture and actively participate in company growth.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of experience in a full-cycle closing role
  • Experience in managing enterprise client relationships
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing team in Singapore, covering Asia: 

  • You'll be joining a team of 6 AEs, split by vertical across commercial and enterprise accounts.

  • Reporting directly to our VP of sales, you'll build and execute a territory plan targeting some of the largest enterprises in Asia.

  • You'll be almost wholly focused on new business. Both selling directly and with/through channel partners.

  • Along with our SDRs, partner sales and marketing teams you will multi-thread with C level executives across business units in your target accounts. Aiming to craft deals over >$100k.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in a full cycle, closing role

  • Experience handling and owning relationships with enterprise companies

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • First and foremost, you're a sales person. You enjoy being in an evolving fast growing  environment and you don't like to sit back enjoying the comfort of a large corporate.

  • You're a hunter, but not a lone wolf. You know how to play as a team and how to craft  large complex deals by pulling in colleagues who you've built trust with.

  • You'll have to be comfortable with the natural ambiguity that comes in a startup  environment and not reliant on corporate safety nets.
