Job Description

The Sales Operations team supports the Global Sales team in executing the sales process. Key responsibilities include processing sales transactions, providing data to various departments, investigating inquiries, managing stakeholder relationships, and contributing to SLAs and KPIs. The role requires someone able to deliver key objectives with limited supervision. The candidate should have experience in a client-facing role, knowledge of financial markets, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with Salesforce or another CRM system. The Sales Operations team provides the best possible information and support to the Global Sales team in a timely manner. This includes managing relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Process sales transactions for the Global Sales Team.
  • Provide data to Finance and Legal departments.
  • Investigate complex pre-sales and post-sales inquiries.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Graduate/post-graduate in a related field.
  • Experience working in a client facing role.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products, especially Excel.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of financial markets and indices.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM System.

Job Details

Sales Operations – FTSE Russell also known as ISD Middle Office is a middle office function which supports the Global Sales team in successfully executing the sales process. The Global Sales team comprises of 150+ Salespeople in 13 countries worldwide.  The Global Sales Operations team comprises of 28 members based in London, Buffalo, New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, Colombo, Manila, and Italy. Moreover, The Global Sales Team is the key face of the business, and it is imperative that we provide adequate support for them to provide best possible service and deliver value to our clients. In addition, Sales Operations work closely with other stakeholders across the business including Finance, Credit Control, Legal & Product Development team. The primary scope of the operations is to provide the best possible information and support to the Global Sales team in a timely manner.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

As part of the Sales Operations Team and reporting to the Sales Operations Assistant Manager in Manila, the individual will be responsible for the business operation of Global Sales. Key areas of responsibilities are:

 

  • Processing of all Sales transactions for the Global Sales Team in accordance with the ISD Sales process.
  • Providing data to Finance, Legal Departments and Client Management function to complete sales process
  • Investigating complex pre-sales and post-sales inquiries and providing timely solutions
  • Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders in Finance Operations, Sales, Relationship Management & Legal.
  • Contributing as a team player towards achieving functional SLAs and KPIs.

Qualifications/Experience

 

It is expected that the candidate will be able to deliver each of the key objectives of the role identifies above with limited supervision.

 

  • Graduate/post-graduate in related field such as Account Management or Business Operations
  • Experience working in a client facing role.
  • Knowledge of financial markets companies and their use of indices preferable.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products, in particular Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM System.

  • Ability to work independently on multiple activities, showing appropriate level of prioritization
  • Should be willing to work in all shifts on rotation
